Great episode! I'm happy to see momentous scenes in the novel being brought to live. The end result is better than I expected as the author Chen Dong tends to be overly wordy with his fight scenes while scrimping on a lot of emotional dialogues. The deep misunderstanding between Qin Hao and Shi Hao is one good example.

In the novel, such scene was "described" and not acted out, but now in the donghua they did a good job portraying the "brainwashing" of the Qin Clan on Qin Hao and why he ended up hating his brother. However, this lil' prick is still lagging far behind Shi Hao, not just in terms of fighting power but also in his EQ. He's too far gone to see that Qin Clan has ulterior motive all along while our smart MC saw through it immediately. Anyone with a bit of brain cells would be able to see why Qin Clan imprisoned the parents but this spoiled piece of sh!t is ok with his parents confined as long as everyone tells him he is greater than his older brother.

There's still no redeeming QH imo, despite the donghua adding valid grounds for his behaviour. In this episode, he actually denied his brother's existence twice. At 16:38, he even couldn't bring himself to call SH his "brother". I hope the production team will stay true to the novel and show us what a turd of a brother he really is!

Oh, of course I'm curious how they will portray the two retarded parents! This whole mess actually cannot be blamed on the Qin Clan alone after all it takes two to clap.

In novel he never admitted any relations to whole family (he claimed he is Qin) in this fight, seeing this development was kind of disappointing, same as he never wondered if Qin Zhan ever did something wrong by hurting grandfather or provoking SH. In fact, he doesn't even flinch when there is talk about parents being locked up in hidden realm

I really hope they won't change the deaths of Qin Zhan and Qin...???... well next Qin, the deity. Their deaths were by far best moment in the novel. In fact whole this event was absolute highlight, but it was spoiled here by little brothers emotional moments which brought pure thrill string to be broken

So when does he meet his parents.... I feel like they are going to drag this out. What do they say when they meet? And lets be real, they are a married couple..... the concept of them having sex and having another child regardless of the intention doesn't make them stupid imo... they are married they have sex.... thats how children are born lol. So them having another kid is normal , sooo ???? I don't get it? They were imprisoned, and someone posted that the clan said have another kid and take their bone, or something along those lines... but them having a kid seems like a moot point, not like they have contraceptives in these shows, they are locked up together and healthy a kid was bound to happen. Are they supposed to be celibate or something? Why are they retarded?

Maybe you have not been reading my previous comments the last weeks?? I have been explaining the complete series of events to those who asked for spoilers. If you don't mind spoilers, then feel free to read on. Actually, it's no longer spoilers at this point. I will try my best to explain once more but I hope you can reserve your judgment before you know what is happening.

Why do I say the parents are "retarded":
1.) The parents left SH at the Shi Manor with some distant relatives (the woman that took care of SH was Shi Yi's mum. Her father-in-law, Shi Yuan is only the second cousin of Shi Zongtian (SH's grandpa), so you can imagine they are really NOT that close. The reason they left was to search for Shi Zongtian who was reportedly missing on his hunt for some special beast for his baby grandson. So, tell me why two very abled and powerful adults have to search for another equally powerful adult while leaving their baby whom they knew was born with a supreme bone in his body, all by himself with a group of distant relatives? Why can't the mum stays behind to take care of her own son?

2.) Then, their stupidity repeats itself: the parents left SH at Stone Village when he was dying to a complete group of strangers on the pretext that they want to search for medicine to cure their baby. They even told the villagers that it's ok if SH dies because they didn't have much hope themselves. So please tell me, why can't you just take your dying son along since he's so critical and might die any time, isn't it better if he can get help faster? Or why can't one parent stay behind to take care of their dying son while the other goes to get the medicine? Why must they always go together and leave their baby behind? I understand that Shi Zhiling was injured, then it's even more crucial that he stays behind in the village to nurse his injury. His wife was planning to go to Bulao Mountain, (her own Sect anyway) to ask for help.

3.) When they reached Immortal Mountain (Bulao Mountain), the elders refused to give them any medicine and suggested to them a moronic idea which they actually followed. According to them, although SH's supreme bone is rare but the chances of it occurring again in the next baby is quite high. So, the Qin Clan encouraged the parents to have a baby in the hope that the next baby MIGHT just have a supreme bone and that can be used to save their dying child. So, tell me how long would it take to conceive and to give birth to a child? Would SH who was on death door be able to wait so long? Most importantly, why would they do such brainless thing removing a supreme bone from a newborn baby to save another baby? They are even worse than Shi Yi's mum then if they would even sacrifice one child to save the other. This is NOT about having healthy conjugal relationship, this is about them even resorting to such a barbaric act. Oh, not to mention, they named their younger son "Shi Hao"! What morons are they? The Qin Clan later renamed him to Qin Hao claiming their exclusive rights on him.

4.) They did later find out that SH is still alive but they are unable to leave the mountain but Qin Hao has no such restriction. All the while, they know the Qin Clan has been poisoning QH's mind but they ignored it because in their opinion, as long as their son gets the needed guidance and support in his cultivation, they would put up with any grievance. So from the Battle of the two Shi Brothers until now, at least 3 years have passed and they never even asked nor persuaded their younger son to check on his older brother?

5.) I forgot to add the most dumbassery act from them. But this is a spoiler:They were actually reluctant to take QH's immortal bone to save SH's life just because QH has a 30% risk of dying while SH will definitely die if they don't save him. What hypocrite! In the beginning, they even wanted to sacrifice QH for SH but now that they are both grown, they couldn't even take the 30% risk. What's more, the dumb mum was more concerned about how QH would feel if they ask for his immortal bone. Really? How can they compare their son's feelings to another son's life? Anyway, the immortal bone was never QH's to begin with, it was planted inside him by the Qins. So what's the big deal if he loses something that isn't his?

Yea when you put it like that lol!

So how many more people does he need to beat before he meets his parents? Does he call them out on their stupidity or is he all lovey dovey? Or am I going to be waiting until he dies and resurrects or whatever before he even meets them?

If my memory serves, SH battles just this crazy Qin Zhan and the current chief of Immortal Mountain. But looking at the preview, the reunion might take another 3 weeks because some epic fighting is still to come. Yes, when I say epic, it really means the battle of the titans! Imagine Willow Deity and Little Pagoda getting involved in the fight! They almost laid the Immortal Mountain to waste! SH and Little Pagoda literally looted them empty. Lol!
